WHAT IS THE BOOKSTORE CALL CENTRE?
The SIAST Bookstore Call Centre is located at the Kelsey Campus and provides services for all 4 campus bookstores. It will probably be your first contact with any of the bookstores. Although located in Saskatoon, the Bookstore Call Centre places customer orders for all 4 campus bookstores by accessing each store's ordering module remotely through the WebPrism system and provides customer service to the Bookstore's customers. WHAT DO THEY MEAN WHEN THEY SAY YOU HAVE TO PURCHASE YOUR MATERIALS AT THE CORRECT CAMPUS BOOKSTORE?
On-Campus Full-Time students must purchase their materials from the Bookstore at the campus they will be attending.
On-Campus Continuing Education Students must purchase their materials from the Bookstore at the campus they will be attending.
Off-Campus Continuing Education Students (on-line, distance and televised) must purchase their materials from the Campus Bookstore that is responsible for the Course. For example, if the calendar indicates you are to register at Kelsey Campus, then you must place your order with the Bookstore Call Centre or Kelsey On-line Bookstore. If the Calendar indicates that you should register at Kelsey or Wascana and the listings indicate one course is Regina and one course is print, you would order your materials from the Bookstore Call Centre or Wascana On-line Bookstore for the Regina course and from the Bookstore Call Centre or Kelsey On-line Bookstore for the print course materials.
Each campus runs programs and courses specific to that campus and requires specific materials(each campus may have different materials). Even if a course with the same name and code is running at more than one campus, you must order your materials from the specific campus bookstore that owns that course to be assured that you have ordered the correct materials you will need.
WHAT ORDERING OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?
All On-Campus Full-Time students, part-time continuing education students, parents, staff and the general public can purchase items in-store, at the On-line Bookstore or over the phone at 1-866-569-8398.
Visit your campus bookstore (make sure your Continuing Education courses are from that Campus Bookstore).
Call the Bookstore Call Centre and place your order with a representative. 1-866-569-8398)
Order at the specific On-Line Campus Bookstore Website.
WHAT INFORMATION DO I NEED BEFORE I CAN ORDER MY MATERIALS?
Full-time Students:
You need to know what Program you are in and which Campus you will be attending. Acquire a Booklist either at the Campus Bookstore or print a Booklist at the Bookstore Website, to know what materials are required.
Continuing Education Students
You need to know the course code and name, as well as the course registration number for the course you are registered in.
To find this information, go to your MYSIAST account, look at your Student Schedule or call registration services.
HOW DO I BUY MY MATERIALS?
You can visit the campus that you will be attending or the campus your materials will be shipped from and select your materials from the shelves. If you need assistance the knowledgeable bookstore staff will help you find the materials you are looking for.
You can place your order with a Bookstore Call Centre Representative by calling the Bookstore Call Centre at 1-866-569-8398.
You can place your order at the On-line Bookstore Website for your specific campus.
Select the TEXTBOOKS button on the top menu
Under SEARCH BY COURSE, select Campus Term (drop down menu)
Click on the GO button
Three windows will appear.
If you are a Full-time On-Campus student, select the program in the left window.
If you are a Continuing Education (CE) student
Select CEDL for CE distance courses;
or
CEOC for CE On-Campus courses; or
CEOL for CE On-Line Courses.
In the middle window select your Course Code. example (ADMN 182)
In the Right Window select your Course Registration number (CRN)
example.(03-118) or the name listed.
Scroll down to view the materials you require for your course and click on the
"NEW" button. A "1" automatically is placed in the quantity box.
Should you need more than one copy, place the required number in the quantity
box, but ALWAYS click
the "NEW" button for the items to be placed in your cart.
If items show they are not IN STOCK, place your order now and the items will be
shipped as soon as they are received at the Bookstore.
Continue through the process of checking out.
HOW DO I PURCHASE A GIFT CARD?
Gift Cards may be purchased in-store at any SIAST Bookstore and used at a later date as tender for in-store purchases. This is a secure method for parents who would normally provide their credit card to their student.
CAN MY STUDENT USE MY CREDIT CARD TO PURCHASE BOOKS AND MATERIALS?
A parent can provide their credit card to their student as tender for in-store purchases however a Credit Card Authorization Form must be filled out and signed by the parent and presented to in-store Bookstore staff, at the time of purchase. Student must also provide the actual Credit Card and Photo ID.

WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?
The SIAST Bookstores will accept cash, debit, Visa, MasterCard, Gift Cards and sponsorship for all in-store purchases.
The On-Line Bookstores will accept Visa or MasterCard.
The Bookstore Call Centre accepts Visa, MasterCard, Money Orders and Sponsorship arrangements.

HOW SOON SHOULD I EXPECT TO RECEIVE MY MATERIALS?
As a rule, you should receive your materials no later than 2 weeks prior to the start date of your course. If all materials are in-stock, your materials should be delivered between 5-7 business days from date of purchase.
Under exceptional circumstances the time frame may vary as the SIAST Bookstore Staff strive to provide the fastest delivery time possible. Should you have any concerns regarding your materials do not hesitate to speak to a Bookstore Call Centre Representative by calling 1-866-569-8398.
WHAT SHIPPING OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE FOR ORDERS PLACED OVER THE PHONE OR AT THE WEBSITE AND WHAT IS THE COST?
Canada Post Expedite:
As a general rule, unless another mode has been requested, your course materials will be shipped by Canada Post Expedite. Your materials will be delivered to your door or PO Box. You will be required to sign that you have received your parcel. If you are not available or it is a PO Box delivery, the postman will put a card in your mailbox and you will have to pick your parcel up at your nearest Postal Depot.
Your cost for shipping and handling for Canada Post Expedite is based on the total dollar value of your order.

STC BUS SERVICE
For a faster delivery you may request that your materials be shipped by STC Bus Service. Your materials will be delivered to your nearest Bus Depot. The SIAST Bookstore will charge a $5.00 handling fee for this service. The customer will pay the COD bus charges when the materials are picked up.
IN-STORE PICKUP
If you place an order with a Representative at the Bookstore Call Centre or at the On-line Bookstore at the Website, the Bookstore will notify you when the materials are ready to be picked up at the bookstore by you or a designated person. There is a $5.00 handling fee for this service.
Note: You must pick up your order at the Campus Bookstore where you placed the order. You must place your order with the Campus Bookstore that is responsible for your Course or Program.
WHAT IS THE RETURN POLICY?

WHO PAYS THE RETURN POSTAGE TO THE BOOKSTORE?
Shipping charges for items returned to the Bookstore are the responsibility of the purchaser unless the return is as a result of an error made by the Bookstore. Materials already signed for from the Post Office and opened, should not be returned to the Post Office to be mailed to the Bookstore, without paying for the return postage. Should the return postage not be paid in full, the cost of the return postage will be deducted from the refund of your materials.
CAN I TRACK MY SHIPMENT?
You can identify the status of your order, if placed on the Website by accessing your account at the On-Line Bookstore.
You can call the Bookstore Call Centre at 1-866-569-8398 to inquire as to the status of your order. If the materials were shipped out by Canada Post Expedite and it is deemed to be late, the bookstore staff can have the order tracked.
MY COURSE IS AN ON-LINE COURSE AND MY MANUAL IS ON-LINE. CAN I ORDER A HARDCOPY OF THE MANUAL?
The in-store staff at the SIAST Bookstores would be happy to provide you with a hardcopy of your manual. These manuals would not be on the bookstore shelves and would have to be printed on an individual basis. Call the Bookstore Call Centre at 1-866-569-8398 and your call will be re-directed to the specific Bookstore Staff for instructions.
CAN I GET MY MATTERIALS SHIPPED FROM ONE BOOKSTORE TO MY LOCAL BOOKSTORE, SO I CAN PICK IT UP?
Materials must be purchased, shipped or picked up from the Campus Bookstore that owns your Course or Program. NO materials will be shipped from one Bookstore to another for any reason.
WHERE CAN I FIND A BOOKLIST?

WHERE CAN I SELL MY USED BOOKS?
Watch for advertising on the On-line Bookstore Storefront or call the Bookstore Call Centre 1-866-569-8398 for information regarding the next scheduled Book Buy Back dates scheduled at your closest SIAST Bookstore.
HOW DO I ORDER AN ADOBE PRODUCT FOR THE DISCOUNTED PRICE?
Go to the On-Line Bookstore Storefront and view the Adobe product information at the bottom of the Storefront(Details here)
, to identify which specific product you would like to order. If you have further questions about the specific product, contact ADOBE at
adobe.com/go/education/student.
To place your order go in person to the Bookstore and provide the Bookstore staff with a copy of a confirmation of enrollment
form which has been signed by the Registration department, payment for the product as it must be prepaid and be aware that the product is non-refundable. Any issues that might arise regarding the software must be presented directly to Adobe. Click here for Confirmation of Enrollment Form

WHERE CAN I BUY NOTEBOOKS AND PENS AND BINDERS ON THE WEBSITE?
Click on the "Gifts and Supplies" button on the main menu bar. Then click on the "Program Supplies" catalog. You will find a nice variety of items such as SIAST logoed pens, notebooks and binders or erasable pens and highlighters.
WHAT KIND OF ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE WITH THE SIAST LOGO THAT I MIGHT USE AS A GIFT AND WHERE DO I FIND THEM?
The SIAST logoed gift items are too numerous to mention, but range from blankets, caps and tools to mugs, glasses and novelty items. Peruse the many items by clicking on the "Gifts and Supplies" button on the main menu bar and select the "Gifts and Accessories" catalog.
